Growing up mixed in the suburbs, I never fit a single label, so I tried them all: quiet bookworm, bright musician, clever student, budding actress, curious scientist, raging nerd. The deeper I explored, the more I realized I loved not having to choose.

That’s what I love about strategy. It lets me nerd out on any topic while collaborating with all kinds of people. From Dungeons & Dragons to fitness to hip hop, most of my favorite interests came from someone willing to share what they love. After all, understanding starts with a willingness to learn.
